Project Overview
EduStream Academy is a next-generation Learning Management System. This Web Design Project focuses on reducing cognitive load for students through a clean UI/UX Case Study design process.
The Challenge
Creating a responsive website design that handles complex course hierarchies and interactive video content flawlessly.
UI Design Highlights
EduStream's UI is focused on clarity and focus. I used a "Soft Learning" palette of sage greens and warm whites to reduce eye strain during long study sessions.
- Typography: 'Quicksand' for a friendly, approachable feel and 'Roboto' for technical content.
- Color Palette: Sage Green (#8FBC8F), Academic White (#FDFDFD), and Primary Pen (#2C3E50).
- Visuals: Minimalist hand-drawn illustrations for course categories.
Responsive Design Details
Students use everything from iPads to wide-screen monitors. The layout uses a 12-column liquid grid system.
- Tablet: Dedicated split-screen mode for taking notes while watching video lectures.
- Mobile: Simplified 'Micro-Learning' dashboard for quick quiz access on the go.
- Fonts: Fluid typography scales perfectly for readability on any screen size.
UX & Performance Optimization
Reducing cognitive load was the primary goal. I optimized user flows to prioritize content discovery.
- User Flow: AI-powered "Next Lesson" recommendation engine integrated into the dashboard.
- LMS Speed: Lazy-loading modules to ensure the dashboard remains snappy.
- Accessibility: Full screen-reader support and high-contrast modes for diverse learners.
Key Features
- Interactive course dashboard.
- Progress tracking analytics.
- Integrated quiz and testing portal.
